Highlight/Context

Festival ends after more than two decades because of security concerns. No mention of the immigration that led to those concerns but at least there is this:
There has been a problem since the incidents at the Loveparade 2010 in Duisburg, but at the latest since the issue of security at such major events after the terrorist attacks on concert halls, shopping boulevards and Christmas markets around the world.

Leverkusener Anzeiger:

The Streetlife Festival is over. It has been held 22 times since 1996. But now it looks as if the last edition went on stage in 2017. This is confirmed by Birgit Kremer, the deputy chairman of the association “Jazz Lev”. The club had been until recently organizer of the three-day concert tour.

Actually, the decision has been made since last summer. “In the past few days, however, we sat down and talked in the team again. And the decision finally confirmed, “says Kremer and adds:” It just can not be done anymore.”

What she means above all with “it” is the increased responsibility. There has been a problem since the incidents at the Loveparade 2010 in Duisburg, but at the latest since the issue of security at such major events after the terrorist attacks on concert halls, shopping boulevards and Christmas markets around the world.
