In recent years, Germany has become a magnet for those seeking protection. In just under three years, more than 1.3 million refugees and asylum seekers have arrived in the country. According to Bamf and Interior Ministry, in 2015 there were around 890,000; Then 280,000 in 2016.

In 2017, Germany was a popular destination for those seeking protection, with 172,737 asylum-seekers coming to Germany by the end of November. In addition, about 89,000 people who received a visa as a family stragglers until the end of September, but do not appear in any asylum statistics. (In the whole of 2016 there were about 100,000)

But how many of them have applied for asylum, how many refugees and asylum seekers actually live in the country, where do these people come from, how many were deported?
