On being denied, he threw rocks to smash in an Audi’s rear window.

A Syrian refugee caused mayhem at an Audi showroom in Germany, after refusing to leave until Angela Merkel bought him a car.

The man, who had been living at the Kaserneneck refugee centre in Landshut, had initially visited the showroom in Bavaria to take up the free coffee which is offered to visitors. He then harassed the staff for money and when they refused, he went off the rails.

German media report that the man then sat inside one of the exhibition vehicles from where he ‘delighted’ guests by blasting out loud Arabic music from his phone.

When staff asked the man to leave, he became erratic and demanded the keys to the car. Staff told the man he would need to pay for the car if he wanted the keys, to which he replied: “Merkel (will) pay…give me (the) car!”
