Sex offender is a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Afghanistan.

Kronen Zeitung (translated):

Thanks to her fierce defense, she escaped being raped: on her way home from a Halloween party, a young girl from Linz is said to have been attacked twice by an Afghan. She scratched his face – that finally convicted him as a suspected culprit. The man is currently in custody.

The young woman had attended a Halloween party at the Palais Kaufmännischer Verein and then made her way home by tram at about 4 o’clock in the morning. When she got out of the tram in Linz-Dornach, a nightmare began for her: a young lad suddenly fell on her and wanted to rape her. The victim struggled desperately, could thereby push away the aggressor and tried to escape.

But the sex offender – as later turned out to be a 21-year-old asylum seeker from Afghanistan – did not give up. He followed the shocked woman and fell over her again. Again, the victim made massive resistance, scratched the alleged lover’s face and was able to flee again.
