It appears Greek island camps are approaching capacity. The only solution to protect Europe is to deport the migrants, perhaps to African countries paid to receive them.
Greece’s Immigration Minister, Yiannis Mouzalas, has warned that the country is struggling to cope with the ongoing migrant crisis, with the state of packed camps now being described as “very bad”.
The numbers of those coming since August are up 200% compared to the same period in 2016.
Numbers arriving from Turkey have surged from an average of 87 people per day in July to 214 each day in October.
